Would the lack of promotions for women be consequently due to the time off for child bearing reasons? In comparison to men?
If women are less likely to apply for promotions, then could this correspond to the younger age than the men?
If women score in the A grades could their lower rank be potentially caused by the higher quantity of older males for the same promotion?
Thanks Ann this is great - What additional data/measures/variables would be on your ultimate wish list to take a deeper dive into the patterns? Are there feasible mechanisms to get those data?
If yoy look at the larger amount of men getting A grades then women, does this correspond to the higher promotions men are receiving, if this gap is to be due to hiring?
